Actually I took two day old pastries and sweet breads and sliced them, dipped them in seasoned egg, added dried fruits and nuts and created delicious pan seared French Toast with a touch of olive oil and butter!

Drizzled with Canadian maple syrup, nested around apple sauce with a dollop of Italian Gorgonzola.

My Original recipe, interesting and fun to eat, visually pleasing, plated with a little artistry and quick and easy to prepare and tastes great!

Could be for breakfast, lunch , dessert and while I eat no meat, hickory smoked bacon or sausage would marry well as an entree .

Great!  You can make wonderful French toast with this bread, especially near the end when it' a bit stale and dry.
