Ingredients: Makes 8 servings In a sauce pan heat the cherries until they begin to boil. Reduce to a simmer for 3 minutes. Add the arrowroot powder (or flax or cornstarch). Remove from heat. Mix until combined and then pour into 8×8 or 9×9 baking dish
In a mixing bowl making the topping by combining oats, flour, salt, maple syrup, coconut oil (if using). Mix together until a crumble forms
Pour the crumble over the cherries evenly and bake for 40 minutes at 350F. The cherries should be bubbling and the crumble slightly browned
Allow to cool completely before cutting about 1 hour.
